1. According to the Environmental Protection Agency, EPA, the average American produces about 4.5 pounds of trash per day which adds up to 1,652 pounds per person every year. If this is true, how many pounds of trash does your household produce every year?

2. 3d printers are capable of creating everything from tools to trinkets and toys. If you had a 3d printer, what kind of things would you make for your close friends and family? What kind of things would you make to sell?

3. In addition to plastic pollution, there is air pollution, water pollution, light pollution, noise pollution, etc. Which one of these types of pollution are you most curious about and why?

TEACH

Students will be able to describe the impact of plastic overtime after analyzing various resources in order to write a Ted talk about banning single use plastic in school lunchrooms.
