1. Professional referees get a unique perspective of competitive sports and athletes. If you could be a referee for any professional sport, which would you choose and why? What would be your second choice?

2. Skateboarding is a competitive sport that does not require a referee. Can you name at least 3 other sports that do not use referees?

3. What do you think sports will be like when athletes are substituted with high tech robots who are stronger and faster? Which robot sport league would you be most interested in watching?

TEACH

Students will be able to explain the current dilemma of using technology in tennis after examining various resources in order to form an opinion between honoring technology or tradition.
