Senator Warnock & Black Representation in Congress

1. Hiram Revels and Joseph Rainey were the first two Black members of Congress. How would you have felt if you were them?

2. Senator Warnock is the first Black US senator from Georgia. How does it make you feel? What does it mean to you?

3. Do you think it is important to have diversity in our Congress? Why or why not?
