1. What do you know about presidential inaugurations?

2. If you were elected as president, how would you feel during the lame duck period? If you were the outgoing president, how would you feel during the lame duck period?

3. Past presidential inaugurations have included many events such as Oaths of Office, speeches, parades, and performances. If you could design the events and celebrations of a presidential inauguration, what events would you include?

TEACH

3-5: Students will be able to analyze the Constitution and Bill of Rights using multimedia sources to create an amendment infographic.

6-8: Students will be able to compare the journeys from election day to inauguration day for the Election of 1860 and Election of 2020 by examining written and multimedia sources to write an informational analysis that outlines the significance of the 20th Amendment.
