1. Have you or your family been impacted by COVID-19? What are your thoughts on the COVID-19 vaccine?
2. Have you ever been given a shot during a doctor visit? Describe the experience. Bonus: If possible, ask a parent or guardian to locate your vaccination/immunization records. Examine the document to see if you have been vaccinated. What vaccines did you receive? How many doses of the vaccine did you receive? How old were you?
3. Who should be involved in deciding whether children receive a specific vaccine?
Students will be able to determine the importance and research the impacts of vaccines over time using written and multimedia sources to write an opinion piece for or against vaccines that is supported with facts and data.
