3. Over time, archaeologists excavated hundreds of buildings including shops and houses in the ancient city of Pompeii, Italy. Why is excavation important?

TEACH

Students will be able to think like an archeologist and analyze a historical artifact using various multimedia sources (informational text, museum exhibit photos, and videos) to complete an artifact analysis one-pager.
